April 8th, 2017

Harrison cook, Malcom Hunt, Kaila Orsak, Brandon O'Neal, Kourtney Vitera, and Mark Olvera competed this weekend at the Regional UIL Academic competition in Corpus Christi. These students represented Louise exceptionally well!

Harrison and Kourtney both earned themselves a trip to state in Informative Speaking and Prose, respectively. They are the first state speech qualifiers since 1998. Harrison had also advanced to the quarterfinals on Friday night in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.

Mark placed 6th in Persuasive Speaking and Brandon placed 7th in Number Sense.

Our speech team had the third highest number of points at the meet!

We are so proud of these kids!

Also, a shout out to Linda Alderson who organized and ran the tournament. She did amazing job!
