Kim Marek

This is my 27th year in education and the last 18 years have been in Louise.  I am a Louise graduate myself and take great pride in teaching the students of LISD.   I am married to Rick Marek who is also a Louise graduate.  We have two children, Macy and Mathew who both graduated from Louise as well.  Macy student taught first grade here, and recently graduated from UH-V with a teaching degree.   Mathew graduated from WCJC in the Instrumentation and Control for South Texas Nuclear Project.  

I'm very excited about assisting students in their classrooms working on basic fundamental math concepts.  Math can be a really hard concept for some students, but my goal is to reach students so that they understand math by applying many different strategies and approaches.
