Amy Bridges graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1983 receiving a BSEE with a Math/Science and Geography minor. First teaching assignment was with the New Braunfels Christian Academy, grades 3 & 4. Mrs. Bridges began her graduate work at SWTSU and started teaching for San Antionio Ind. School District for the Special Education Dept. After three years with Intermediate Life Skills, Mrs. Bridges changed districts and taught elementary life skills for Comal Ind. School District. She also graduated with a MEd. in Generic Special Education, minor in Early Childhood Education from SWTSU in 1993.  She was assigned to Goodwin Primary in New Braunfels, Texas. After 10 years, her family was transferred to El Campo, Texas. Mrs. Bridges and family reside in Louise, Texas.
