Albert and I returned to Louise in 1977. We chose to
build our home here because we wanted our children to go to LISD. I am the Louise Junior
and Senior High School secretary (my office is centrally located in the new school). The
day that the old gym was torn down, I could not watch, and there was a lump in my throat.
We have two grown children. Our daughter Kelly is married to Alan Marek and they have
blessed us with four wonderful grandchildren--Stephanie, Jacob, Harrison, and Dawson. Our
son Christian lives in Clear Lake. In addition, we have reared several other children
during the last forty years and last summer we adopted four more precious, very athletic
ones…Andrew, C. J., Jessica and James. We also have two foster children (Gabriella
and Angelica). We do wilderness, primitive camping, and in May we celebrated our 40th
wedding anniversary by taking our children camping, canoeing, hiking, fishing. There is
never a dull moment in our lives. No rocking chairs for us! |
